This plugin is awesome. I have it installed on all my other blogs and it has made it so much easier for people to contact me. Yes people seem to want to contact me about various things! Check it out on the contact page up there.

Cannot load custom-header

I have setup WordPress before on a debian box but for the life of me i couldn’t recall how i got the custom header to work!
Searching for the term “Cannot load custom-header” yields only others searching for an answer. Now i am obviously not entirely an expert when it comes to Linux so it took me some time to figure it out.

This post is for all the people out there wondering why they see “Cannot load custom-header” when they click the old “Use Custom Image Header to customize the header” link.

All you need to do is install the GD module for php! The command you use to do this is this:

apt-get install php4-gd

or if you run php5:

apt-get install php5-gd

And Bob’s your uncle!
