You may or may not know about this post from quite a long time ago now by a man known to the internet as blutone. Unfortunately the forum which it was posted on had an auto prune feature enabled and the thread disappeared. The original post may be lost forever, but i was quick enough to archive it onto this very blog, albeit minus everyones comments, which were in fact a big part of the overall hilarity.
It has just come to my attention that the folks over at singletrackworld.com have actually (5 months ago!) posted the entire unedited thread onto their blog. So, for those of you who have not seen it yet, here it is.
After around 1400 years, Bishop Gianfranco Girotti, head of the Apostolic Penitentiary decided that The seven deadly sins, also known as the capital vices or cardinal sins, required a bit of a modern update to include some of the more pressing threats to that crazy Vatican crowd.
The seven social sins are:
1. “Bioethical’ violations such as birth control
2. “Morally dubious” experiments such as stem cell research
3. Drug abuse
4. Polluting the environment
5. Contributing to widening divide between rich and poor
6. Excessive wealth
7. Creating poverty
The old ones are way cooler imo. Maybe they should make up some rad word for “Contributing to widening divide between rich and poor” and i will be more interested. hah!
so, work connection using a Sydney mirror where the COLO is.
will post from my puny home connection later.
And here it is.
Why is my ISP the only one not to have my exchange on ADSL2+? WHY!!?!? I’ve been waiting forever!! In build for the last…5 months probably? LAME! If i was with Telstra i would have 24MBit. That is a joke.
