So Mozilla released Firefox 3 today, and to celebrate they are attempting a world record number of downloads.

Mozilla.com web traffic is pushing well over 2 Gigabits a second of just pure HTTP traffic. That is in addition to the 13 Gigabits a second or so of download traffic. We are still at around 14,000 download/minute and mozilla.com is responding well! Go Mozilla community and IT team!
Hi, I’ve just heard from very good authority that the apple iphone will be on sale through Optus for $320 OUTRIGHT for the 16GB model. Also Optus have apparently ordered 1.2 million units and have received more than 200 thousand orders in the first 3 days of the pre order offer, so they will definitely sell out.
So, you can buy the phone outright without a plan for $320. But you will need to be with optus or vodaphone to use it. That is of course until it is unlockable with ziphone or something similar.

A huge tornado funnel cloud touches down in Orchard, Iowa, Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 9:04 p.m. The Globe Gazette and Mitchell County Press News reported that Lori Mehmen of Orchard, took the photo from outside her front door. Mehmen said the funnel cloud came near the ground and then went back up into the clouds. Besides tree and crop damage, no human injuries were reported. (AP Photo/Lori Mehmen)
